Gel analysis of DNA from 24 blood samples processed simultaneously over a JETWELL96 Blood & Cell Culture Plate.
500 ng blood DNA per lane were applied onto a 0.8 % TAE agarose gel (lane 2 - 25). Lambda-DNA (digested with HindIII and EcoRI) was used as DNA size marker in lanes 1 and 26. The average size of the genomic DNA is approx. 50 kb.
 
 
PCR fragments of different sizes (1387 bp, 516 bp, 298 bp; from left to right) from three different loci of the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy gene were amplified from 50 ng of DNA samples showed above. The plasmid pBR328 (digested with HinfI and BglI) was used as DNA size marker in lanes 1 and 26.
